I built Skytron — AMC's proprietary broadcast tech.

Designed and built the Skytron on-camera interviewer-feedback system at American Movie Company. Used on Netflix's History of Swear Words (Cage / Silverman), Aveeno × Jennifer Aniston pandemic ad campaign, Run the Jewels music videos, and the Patriarch’s Ground Zero shrine consecration. Bill Milling and AMC own the rental business; I built the engineering.

Dr. Vincent W. Allen, DPS

Founder & CEO of VAAV Industries. With cross-platform expertise spanning TV, film, lighting, video, sound, digital, and streaming, Dr. Allen has 31 years architecting AV systems and broadcast content for university systems, Tier-1 finance (Elliott, Millennium, JPMC, Lazard, Blackstone, HSBC, Deutsche Bank, Barclays, Federal Reserve), Fortune 500, top media firms, and federal infrastructure. EVP Cliff Alberti at TriTech describes him as a contract CTO — the operator who can roll up his sleeves and run the C-suite room in the same day.

Dr. Allen articulates the technological roadmap for an organization. He establishes and preserves a company's technological edge against competitors, ensuring it leverages and maximizes its capabilities — KPI, ROI, and operational efficiency — by treating the AV and broadcast stack as part of the strategic plan, not an afterthought.

VAAV Industries was incorporated in 2020 to formalize the practice that has operated under Dr. Allen's direction since 1995.
