VAAV Industries, LLC (“VAAV,” “we,” “our,” “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use www.va-av.com, book.va-av.com, learn.va-av.com, academy.va-av.com, coaching.va-av.com, or any other VAAV property (collectively, the “Sites”), how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly to us:
- Name, email address, company, phone number when you submit a contact form, book a consultation, or purchase an information product.
- Pre-call brief content for paid consultations (used solely to prepare for your call).
- Payment information when you purchase a paid consultation or information product. Payment data is processed and stored by Stripe, our payment processor; we do not store your card number, CVC, or full bank account details on our servers.
We collect information automatically when you visit the Sites:
- IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, and pages viewed (via Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-respecting and does not use cookies).
- If you click a UTM-tagged link from an email or LinkedIn post, the source/medium/campaign parameters are captured for attribution.
We do NOT collect:
- Sensitive personal data (race, religion, health, etc.).
- Information from minors. The Sites are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe we have, please email us so we can delete it.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- Respond to your inquiries, deliver the consultation or product you booked, and follow up on engagement.
- Send transactional emails (booking confirmations, calendar invites, product delivery, receipts).
- Send marketing emails (LinkedIn post recaps, info-product launches, occasional updates) — you can unsubscribe from any marketing email at any time. Transactional emails will continue as needed to complete a service you’ve requested.
- Improve the Sites by analyzing aggregate usage (top pages, referrers, conversion paths).
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do NOT sell or rent your personal information.
3. Sharing
We share information with:
- Service providers that help us operate the business: Stripe (payments), Google Workspace (email + calendar), Zo Computer (hosting), Cloudflare (CDN/analytics), Apollo (CRM/outreach). Each is bound by their own privacy obligations.
- Legal authorities when required by law (subpoena, court order, regulatory request).
- Successor entities in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all assets.
We will not share your information with marketing partners, data brokers, or advertising networks.
4. Cookies and tracking
The Sites use minimal tracking:
- Cloudflare Web Analytics: privacy-respecting, no cookies, no fingerprinting. Aggregate usage only.
- Stripe Checkout: Stripe sets cookies during the checkout flow as required for fraud prevention and to complete the transaction. Stripe’s cookie policy: stripe.com/cookies-policy/legal
- Google Calendar embed (booking flow): when you choose a calendar slot, Google may set cookies under their domain.
We do not use third-party advertising or retargeting cookies on VAAV-owned pages.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your information (subject to legal obligations to retain certain records like tax/transactional records).
- Opt out of marketing emails at any time.
- For EU/EEA/UK residents: data portability, right to object to processing, right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
- For California residents: rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) including right to know, right to delete, right to opt out of “sale” (we don’t sell data).

6. Data retention
- Booking and consultation records: kept for 7 years for tax and legal compliance.
- Marketing email subscribers: kept until you unsubscribe.
- Cloudflare aggregate analytics: retained per Cloudflare’s policy (typically rolling 6-month windows).
- Pre-call brief content: deleted 90 days after the call unless you request earlier deletion.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International transfers
VAAV is based in New York, USA. If you are accessing the Sites from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US. By using the Sites, you consent to this transfer.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date. For material changes, we will notify you by email if you are a current customer or subscriber.
